What's the difference between this and the panel that came with my lights?

What happens on cloudy days?

The Solar Panel 2.0 continues to generate charge in overcast conditions - less efficiently than in direct sun, but enough to maintain performance across most weather patterns. If you have back-to-back cloudy days, plug in via USB-C to top up the battery directly.

Can I leave it outside permanently?

Absolutely. An IP65 weatherproof rating and ETFE lamination mean rain, heat, UV exposure, and cold won't damage the panel. Install it once and leave it outdoors year-round - no maintenance needed.
